I was unfortunately awakened at 4 in the morning by a cockroach crawling on my body. I went straight to the front desk, and in fairness to them, they immediately changed my room. I asked if there was any amount I could be reimbursed (I was going to a wedding the next day and this was all quite unfortunate) which prompted the man at the front desk to start yelling at me. He yelled at me again the next morning when I brought it up a second time with a photo I had taken of the cockroach in the bed. (I thought I was very reasonable in my tone and even now I feel bad writing this review) to the point where another customer told me as I was leaving “I agree with you” regarding me telling the man that his yelling was uncalled for. Look, I live in California. I understand cockroaches can be a thing, but I can’t get past the way this man yelled at me. I am not going to include the photo because I think you get the gist. Again, they did switch my room, and to that point had been kind and helpful, but what happened after was not the best way to communicate with a customer.

It was tightly tucked away next to Sams Club and wasn't crazy about this BUT Bill I think his name was at the front desk was just truly the best gracious funny and so accommdating. My father has trouble walking and he switched our room to one that was available right next to the elevator so he would not have to walk very far at all - and gave water for us to take to our room. The hotel itself is not large and the interior felt surprisingly boutique-ish and comfortable - was so clean and the room was up to date, clean and really just perfect.
