Hale 'Ohu feels secluded while also being very close to restaurants and Volcanoes National Park. It's very quiet and the gardens are beautiful. The mattress was SO comfortable. It was on the firmer end of the spectrum and I have to say it was the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from home in years. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Conveniently located with easy access to Bryce Canyon and with a restaurant for dinner right on property. Heated pool was also a nice bonus. Very nice breakfast selection.

Laundry room felt a bit beaten up and the breakfast arrangement was very cluttered, making it hard for people to comfortably serve themselves

No air conditioning so room got hot and was hard for us to sleep. They provide standing fans but it's not enough.

I didn't like the fact they had no breakfast the woman at the front desk was rude but most of all I didn't like the fact that it's the hottest part of the summer and they never open the pool the other bad part is the out-of-town workers that are subcontracted at the local businesses all stay there and they're loud rowdy getting drunk on the patio all hours of the night and it's beside a truck stop which is non-stop trucks in and out loud as can be on top of that my TV didn't work for 2 days I ended up using my phone I'm sure the TV still doesn't work till this day for whoever else has stayed there if they would be choosier about who stays there and less lenient on the rules and would offer more amenities it wouldn't be a bad spot

Floor was sandy when we arrived and every day there after. We had to use the white towels as area rugs. Our feet were never free from sand and dirt. The room’s ac window unit was loud and fan squealed every time it came on. The cable sucked for kids. Spoke to maintenance, he said no units were connecting to Disney or nickelodeon. They had to see what was wrong with the connection. Was there for 4 days, never got resolved.
