The convenience of having 4 shuttle runs per hour to and from the airport and the hotel being so close to SFO are two main factors why we usually choose to stay at Aloft SFO. We usually stay there because of the room rates. When the rates sometimes double, we end up selecting another hotel in the vicinity of SFO.

Love how comfortable the room was!! The bathroom was spacious, the ac was cold, the bed was comfortable, the fridge was super cold, the ice machine was working and easy to find and loved the electrical outlets right next to the bed!! I will definitely stay again!!

The room we got had handprints all over the mirrors. The bathtub had not been cleaned, and the floors had not been vacuumed. We had no towels, and we had no soaps or shampoos. It was as if the maid had not cleaned at all.

The bar and restaurant closed too early, with crazy nightlife all around the hotel, it would have been nice to stay and enjoy the hotel bars.

The bathroom smelled like urine, holes in the wall and black mold in the shower grout. The main room was hot and stuffy and smelled like a swamp. There was something in the A/C unit that sounded like a rattling tin can. No one checked this room before we stayed and there were spider webs in the bath window, everything was dusty and dirty. When I told the manager the window screen was missing, he said, "I know". Yikes! There was no window screen in the bathroom and without bath fan it needed to be open, so get ready to put up with bugs. This place has had no upkeep in years. I was shocked when the neighbor came out and let. He had a funny look on his face. I would have left too but the non refundable was $5 more than we paid for the stay $175+ I took pictures but not posting them.

Front desk clerk Jose was kind of rude. I know the process of checking in. I was clerk once. Besides I checked in in properties like Caesars Palace Harrah's Flamingo Paris Las Vegas, as well as Rancho Mirage and Agua Caliente Casinos in Palm Springs, or Fiesta Americana Cancun and Puerto Vallarta Mexico etc etc Mornings, no coffee left...
