The staff was very friendly and gave us a welcome bag of goodies to refresh us when we arrived. Very clean and the room was nice and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice...hot foods and cereal, waffles, yogurt, juices, coffee and tea...a wide variety of foods to choose from and kept replenished. Also, there was shampoo, conditioner, lotion, makeup remover, plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. They did a great job!

The check in process was smooth and the staff really helpful in addressing questions. The hotel is right on the route to the major bus lines into downtown and also to the airport. I used the buses frequently, which saved money and was quite efficient ($2 cash each ride). I got a room with a private hallway bathroom and that was a decent set-up. The hotel was quiet inside and out the night I stayed.

The hotel is about a mile or more from the main piers and shopping/restaurant areas. Most of the closest businesses are chains with the exception of a pizza place across the street and a cute cafe about 3 blocks away. The neighborhood didn't feel unsafe but definitely urban. On the upside, it didn't feel touristy. Given that it was an "Inn" I expected a better breakfast but it was a standard major chain continental breakfast set-up. Decent with lost of options but none of them hot.

The manager was very friendly and accommodating, great guy. In town for streater fest, location is perfect to walk anywhere. Food and grocery store very close by.

The bed was uncomfortable and had divots from high levels of prior use. For the price, I was expecting more comfort. We were also told there would be complementarity water and snacks, which we did not receive. I also wasn't expecting the additional high charge for parking.
