There was coffee and croissants. There was a Keurig coffee maker with several choices. When I got in that night after booking 15 minutes beforehand, the gentleman who owns the house was outside right after I arrived to help me in with my luggage. He had called me right after I booked and asked if I needed any help with that. He was very nice and professional. He had other guests who had also just arrived and so he helped me into my room which was a up a small pair of stairs and showed them to their room and gave them instructions and then he came into my room to show me around. There was a little fridge that was unplugged which was fine, I just plugged it in and used it. The room was comfortable, cool and quiet. I had my own bath that was nicely furnished. It was a great unexpected accident that put me there that night and I'm glad I was able to make their acquaintance.

The location is in what locals calll “Midtown,” though visitors should know that it’s a good distance from the business center. It is close to UNO-Scott Campus (walking distance) and to many convenient stores and restaurants in the 72nd Street corridor. There is free parking, though at times guests may have to walk a few steps to get from the parking space to the front door. The staff is cheerful and helpful, and tried to accommodate all of my requests.

The free wi-fi needs improvement. The initial connection took 30 minutes, and subsequent connections were spotty. Also, there were not enough places to hang wet towels in the bath. Although there is a free breakfast, the selections are somewhat limited and there’s little variety from day to day. For those with kids, though, there are waffles and a couple of different breakfast cereals. Fresh fruit was offered, but cut and peeled fruit (fruit salad) was lacking. It’s difficult to cut and peel fresh fruit with plastic utensils. Overall, though, a pleasant stay.

It was within walking distance of the beach, but not easy access to actually get on the beach. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet. The free breakfast had waffles, and the usual food (cereal, yogurt, bagels, etc.) which was good. The staff was acceptionally nice.

We booked an ocean view, but did not get that at all - it was a view of a side street. No bar soap or lotion at the sink. Only body wash and shampoo in a receptacle in the shower. The towels were not soft or large.

Loved the kitchen/dining area, pool, landscape, decor, upgrades, snacks, drinks, ample space, outdoor space, windows to back yard, covered parking, culdesac, clear instructions/rules . “It was ALL good!”

No full-length mirror Master shower leaks and not many settings. Both bathroom sinks lacked counter space. Didn’t have a vanity or place with a mirror to spread out supplies and get ready.

Had to pay $12 to park in the lot. Breakfast was a granola bar, applesauce and water in a bag. Loud diesel-type engine noise outside our window. Ran all night. Will never stay there again.
