I love being on the 17th floor. And the floor to ceiling windows. Option to Crack the window open to hear the city of Chicago. They had options on the TV for sleep noises, so that helped with the voices next to our room.

Would want a microwave. We had to pick and choose what to bring back to the hotel. Sure, it had a mini almost like a makeup fridge but nothing to heat our food with. Unless we wanted to go down to the common area and use the microwave down there, like I said, we were on the 17th floor, so in and out of elevators just to eat warm food. There are plenty of outlets for a microwave. The walls were super thin. I could hear a woman video chatting with her child. I did the same with my own, but I don't wanna hear other people and children who aren't there! But what can you do? Rebuild the hotel, lmao. I would definitely stay there again, tho.

Rooms were spacious and well kept. The apparent remodel of the interior was welcome. Staff were friendly and quickly changed our room when we notified them of a refrigerator issue at check-in.

Shower didn’t drain well. First room the refrigerator needed a serious defrost. Exterior stairways definitely showed their age. Breakfast selection was a bit light (no side meat like sausage/bacon, no scrambled eggs).

There was nowhere to park. The valet spots were already taken up and I am assuming it was the valets were just sitting in the car. We had to park and walk quite a way with our bags and granddaughter. The pictures weren’t accurate. Bed was fine.

Location, musty smell in room, rolling bathroom doors that don’t lock! Pull out couch was small and was more of a roll out couch that was rough to sleep on

Those rooms look nothing like the website they were disgusting. The ceiling was black from dirt on the ceiling fan. The vent in the room was filthy. The commode look like they should’ve been in a gas station. The bathtub was disgustingly dirty. The pillows were the size of throw pillows for furniture. The curtains were barely hanging on the hooks in the rooms not to mention my door number room 225 was written with a sharpie. A housekeeper a male housekeeper knocked on my door and I told him just a minute and he proceeded to just come into my room anyway.

Room was way too small, light outside window on all night, saggy mattress, curtain rod on shower collapsed, furniture old, beat up and shabby, quality of food at breakfast poor.
