Practically on a runway so definitely close to the airport. Dated, needs a refurbishment. Lots of construction materials in the hall so maybe that's happening. Staff at front desk accommodated our request for a room not on ground level but refused to supply an extra serving of coffee pods. Breakfast was standard, staff there was hard working and pleasant.

The breakfast was marginal. Waffles good. Biscuits were hard I think there wasn’t enough water below. The boiled eggs were left w no water as well. The gravy was so sad did not taste like gravy was not homemade.

There was no manager or supervisor on site all day I was told by Jennifer. She gave a key to my room to a couple who opened my door w a key at 8:50am. I tried to call the front desk and the phone had no dial tone. Check in time is at 3:00. What happened? The girl said my room was not registered. I had the registration on my phone. I was so scared the couple or the man would come back w access to my room. No security or support anywhere. The only thing they did was comp my room I should have been offered a few days my nerves were shot. I called the complaint for the company and spoke to Rae who was kind I asked her to have someone from the administration to contact me and I have not heard a thing. No courtesy at all. Why! I’ve never had this happen to me people walking into your room w a key. Come on. I would appreciate a call back or help. Thx

Hotel Trouvail is like a Miami Dream come true. It evokes exactly what Miami is supposed to. The minute you step in, you feel like you are part of Miami History, but with all the modern amenities. The staff was so friendly and everything perfectly clean. And the food and drinks... The best I had anywhere the entire trip were at the hotel!
