Front desk person(s) not present for check in or check out. Front desk person short and not very customer friendly. In booking our stay, read cribs are available at this property. Never received confirmation regarding crib availability so I called the property prior to arriving and advised the front desk gentleman that we were calling to verify crib accommodation and I was cut off and told “we don’t have any cribs”. Upon arrival, while I waited in my vehicle to stay with my baby, my girlfriend called me from the front desk to tell me no one was present, saying she had been calling out loudly for an employee awhile and still no one was available for us to check in. So I called the property, went through the prompts and when I got through to the front desk, the same gentleman from my previous call answered and I mentioned that we were trying to check in but no one was available at the front desk. He replies, “I’m right here ma’am.” I figured by the way he said it we must’ve missed another entrance. No other entrance. Shortly after, my girlfriend came out and said that he had just showed up and mentioned he told her he was the only employee on site and had to take care of all the guests. While I can understand his situation, I’d be more appreciative if he had shown some compassion for ours as well and had presented some decent customer service skills.

We liked the hotel’s location because it was close to the areas we needed to visit.

Need better internet service and cable TV. The internet only reached max speeds of 8 mbps. We couldn’t stream any shows to the tv as it would lose signal often. The cable service felt like it was outdated technology without a decent guide to show you the channels. It has a guide on the tv but you had to wait for it to automatically cycle the screens to show you the channels and shows currently playing. Upon checking in it would have been nice to be told that we have to request service before they clean and refresh the room. Instead it was on a little hanging small card in the bathroom which we overlooked until the next day.
