- “What's not to love about this location. Located on a small island so only accessible by small taxi boat (included in stay) but wow, what a beautiful location! It was everything I expected and more! Deiverson was incredibly helpful including on the day we checked out, we asked if we could use the common areas and free kayaks/paddle boards even though we had checked out of our room and they allowed us to do so. We were gone all day, enjoying the mangroves and small islands in the area. An abundance of wildlife can be seen as you paddle around the different areas, including sea turtles, toucans and so many other birds, stingrays, crabs and much more! Incredible stay overall and only regret was staying for only 1 night (it was meant to be a pit stop to cut our drive time shorter from Rio to Sao Paulo).”

  The lay out of the room where the window is at the entry door and the bathroom is at the back of the room was great. Staff is super friendly, help and very accommodating. Michael prepared the breakfast for our 4 day stay which is delivered to the room. loved the Chorizo Burrito and Fresh Fruit. Hot Fresh made Macadamian cookies with milk anytime you want delivered to room upon request. Free Laundry including soap and dryers sheets, machine were newer and easy to use. Location was great. right on Central and walking distance to Gibson park through a Historic home district.

  While the technolgy was perfect. the outlets at the front of the night stands were flimsy. It was wierd to have the shower to only have a fixed half door so you had to be careful not to get the floor too wet. overall we have a very enjoyable stay

  The Lake House felt like visiting a tropical all inclusive resort. The common areas, restaurants, pool, grounds, and views of the lake were all breathtakingly beautiful. There was so much to do on site, we didn't need to leave at all. I will definitely visit again in the future, and we've been raving about the place to everyone since we got back.

  Just some minor maintenance issues in the room; pocket doors were damaged, finish wearing off of the coffee table, vandalized desk pad, aggressive shower head, slow shower drain, mold inside the caps of the glass water bottles

  At check- in I was told the $16.00 for parking was good for 24 hours. I planned my trip around that. I checked -out at 11:00 am. My parking should have been good until 2:00pm since that was 24 hours after my arrival. Lady at front desk said as soon as I checked out that the parking pass would expire which would have cost me an additional $30.00 to stay until 2.00. Not acceptable! The bathroom body wash was empty. At the restaurant the waitress argued with me about getting blackened chicken on my salad stated they couldn't do it when I'd gotten it there the night before. It's the little things that make the difference. Especially after paying $569.00 for a room.
