I didn't like that they didn't enforce the handicap parking and I had to park all the way in the back even though I use a cane and it's really hard for me to walk I am handicapped but yet there are three cars parked in the front they were not handicap cars Land at the people know that the front desk didn't seem to care and then I thought I paid for two nights cuz the guy said he took out for two nights I was gone all day on the second night got there at midnight and didn't have money with me because I didn't expect to be paying they told me it was never taken off my card and then I never had paid yet and I needed to pay or I had to leave speaking let you know I'm handicapped in this middle of the night they could have called me all day to ask me why I didn't pay yet or I need to pay but they didn't they wait until I got there at midnight to tell me and kicked me out in the middle of the night and ask him if you can take my hundred already deposit and just put it towards my room for the night just because I don't want to leave the middle of the night and they wouldn't do it so remind me I will never stay there again

Shower connection broke spraying water in bathroom resulting in 1/4 inch of water on bathroom floor. While front desk staff did replace the shower nozzle, he did not offer to help me dry the floor with towels, rather he advised that I leave the standing water for housekeeping the following morning--incident occurred at 9:30 pm. He told me the shower connection would be repaired the following day (8.24.25)--it was not. Moreover, on the day of checkout, water was leaking from the toilet water source. I reported both incidents to the manager on 8.25. He told me he would confer with the staff and call me on my cell on 8.25; he failed to do so. I asked for a one night refund. Food was poor; sausage was so greasy, it was neither appetizing, nor should it have been served. I was visiting my son's family. Next trip will not include this hotel. I did contact Wyndham customer care. I was assured that a supervisor would contact me within one week.

Very disappointing as this hotel was to be a special splurge to end our Alaskan holiday. Customer service was disappointing at every interaction. Horrible first experience with the valet. Then we did not receive the room we booked and paid for. Front desk would not help with changing rooms or reducing the room rate. We stayed one night and then decided to change hotels At check-out, the front desk would not print or email our charges. Bad attitudes from all employees that we interacted with. Frustrating, as we were really looking forward to staying at the Captain Cook.

Significant inaccuracy from advertisement: pictures NEED to be updated, Essential features not working (the AC unit needed to be cleaned BADLY), breakfast was a soft bar and coffee, only 2 dryers in working order. Im actually hoping for a refund.
