  I didn't have the highest hopes based on some of the reviews but honestly this is a great little place for the price. The room was big, clean, and bright. Modestly furnished but everything was clean and neat. The man at the front desk was polite and efficient, and check in was smooth and simple. It's located right near shopping, restaurants, and the highway, but is well enough off the beaten path that there isn't a lot of traffic or people going by.

  My only complaint was that the pillows were paper thin and the bed was LOUD. Just getting into bed or readjusting felt loud enough to wake the whole neighborhood! But it was reasonably comfortable and I brought my own pillows anyway.

  The room is clean but it smells musty and moldy. My nose started getting stuffy and eyes watery through the night. Walls are thin because it is an outdated house but it is very quiet and peaceful there in the week day.

  Some staff were not very friendly, except for a gentleman who asked about our stay while we were in the elevator. When I went to hand in my keys, the staff woman (she was on the phone in her defense), didn’t even look up or smile or take the keys when I stood there trying to hand them to her. Any eye contact at all would have been appropriate and left me with a good impression. We were facing each other so there is no way she didn’t realize I was there. *I wouldn’t normally write a review like this but we are at a different hotel tonight and every staff member we have interacted with has been exceptional. It really does make a difference when the staff is attentive and friendly.
