The property was spacious, clean and well cared for. The staff was very friendly, and profesional. Bernadette in the. Bistro was especially helpful. As was the desk staff.

I find American Hotels are very thought out, to serve their corporations, at lowest possible cost. They design a sevice to check a box, and list it as an amenity, but are so obviously, very indifferent as to actual guest experience its almost insulting. I feel like saying why did you bother? Likewise staff although very friendly and nice here are not inclined to extend themselves to any extra degree (except the afore mentioned Bernadette). They do the job required nothing more. They call themselves 4 stars, to justify their pricepoint, but don’t live up to it. This is a criticism I have with nearly all American hotels I’ve encountered, not just this one. There’s service, and there’s Hospitalty, and there’s just doing the job.

The pool is open later than most and the breakfast has a decent variety. The rooms are very spacious.

There are cameras all over the property, with a sign saying they are “for the safety of tenets”. It is obvious several tenets were using/dealing. Our non smoking room had such a horrible smell- some fragrance or cleaner used to try and mask that someone had smoked in the room.

First room smelled like heavy smoke. Staff were hard to reach and nobody attended the room for some time. We got moved to another room and several features of the room weren’t functioning. We contacted front desk and nobody came nor would come unless we were to hunker down in our room until they find the time to attend.
