The breakfast was really good. I travel a lot, and oftentimes the "included breakfast" at many hotels doesn't impress. But this hotel surprisingly offered a very satisfying and delicious variety.

The parking lot out back was horrible (and the only complaint I have). The upper lot is a dead end, but there are no signs indicating this, unless they are not clearly visible. Now imagine arriving late at night after having been on the road for weeks, hauling a U-Haul trailer on top of it, and you suddenly find yourself in a dead end, having to back it all out again. It isn't fun, that's all I can say.

The motel is basic but the decor is tastefully cozy. The location is close to Taco John's and also a family run ice-cream shop across the street. Close to the hot spring baths, as well.

Smelled bad in room, musty smell, almost like water had been on floor and sat for awhile. I had a jacuzzi in room that I couldn't use as "was under maintenance" so am wondering if that was why room smelled.

Front desk staff not friendly. The hotel had booked a private event for the rooftop bar and would not allow paying guest to use the space. We went to 11 different floors trying to get ice and they were either out of ice or out of order. The valet and parking staff were very nice. We won't stay here again.
