Very tired motel. Needs complete renovation and refurbishing. Beds were clean and comfortable. Ceilings on second floor were missing tiles from prior rain damage and not replaced. Front desk staff were very pleasant.

The owners went out of their way to pick us up from the airport upon our arrival and take us to the train station for our departure. Very knowledgeable of the area with lots of advice on places to visit.

Motel 6 has been advertising that they are modernizing/improving on their rooms; they did well, but expected a little more. Location was always good, the price was fair, and it was relatively quiet.

Perhaps make the rooms a little more inviting; seemed sterile, the seams in the tub needed re-caulking, and some furnishing just weren't comfortable and cheap. Think even for a budget hotel they could do a little better.

Comfortable mattress. Very clean microwave and minirefrigerator. Very close to Dolly's Dixie Stampede.

Dirty vinyl plank flooring. No washcloths provided, bath mat or safety mat. No security cameras. They definitely are needed for their ramp and extra lighting on their ramp would greatly be appreciated. Cigarette butts everywhere. No ashtrays anywhere. I checked in at 11:25 pm and there were people in the pool who were loud. There is no curfew for the pool. A screaming 5 yr old ran out of her room running all over while her father just stood there doing nothing about it. He just kept smoking his cigarette. When I was approaching my car to get my bag and cooler a skunk came out from under the car beside mine. I couldn't get all of my stuff. I did report this to the front desk in the morning. Also reported empty beer bottles on the 2nd flight of the back stairs. Monday morning, 6-3-24 when I went to check out they were still there. They only have Roku tv's and mine wasn't connected to their internet. I stopped at the front desk Sunday night 6-2-24, to get the internet user ID and password. There was a couple there complaining about the screaming child the night before and their tv wasn't working either. I am still waiting on the front desk girl to come fix my tv. At check-out I left them know I fixed my tv myself. The staff were all like finally someone who can fix their own tv. They all applauded me. The guy said, I take my hat off to you. At check-in I was not given a parking tag for my car mirror, the user name and password for their internet nor a copy of the check-in agreement I signed. Their free breakfast was cereal, coffee and various juices. There was 2 waffle makers but no batter. No bread, English muffins, bagels, muffins or donuts. Also, no fruit such as oranges and bananas. I booked this because of the Days Inn name. What a disappointment. They are converting over from the Evergreen Motel. Well you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.
