  We discovered the Aspen Suites Hotel as we were winding down our trip in Alaska. It is close to everything in Anchorage. Clean, comfortable and affordable. We did not use the kitchen but it had everything you need to store and prepare food. There was a comfortable seating area and queen size bed in our suite. The bathroom was roomy and had ample towels and products for the shower. Pillows and linens were very nice and the mattress was a comfy one! The ladies at the front desk were warm and welcoming when we checked in.

  Nice size room. Great location. There was one lady who was so nice and patient with us. Two pools to choose from. The beach and restarants are close by.

  It started off rocky. The front desk desk guy name Tom. Told me there was no rooms ready. So as I walk off the next lady who came in. Got her check rite in. Lucky my husband had saw what he did. But the nice lady who also was working there had just got in and got us checked in after TOM told me and family there were no clean rooms. But after that everything was good. Also have to pay for parking. $10 a day. this would be the first place where I had to pay for parking and a place to sleep.

  The apartment was absolutely awesome. We enjoyed it very much. I liked the kids had their own room to themselves.

  The pool was amazing, clean and spotless, the lady at the front desk was awesome.

  There was a kids birthday party by the pool area and they closed the pool early at 9pm. So we had to wait for them to finish and only got 15 minutes to swim.

  I did not like the cleanliness of the room it was visibly dirty. I could see ashes left in the bathroom. The tub was filthy and had a razor guard inside the drain left by another customer. The furniture was terrible and badly worn. The dirty washcloth was still hanging in the shower when we arrived. It smelled awful in there. The tv was not working and when we requested to change rooms they denied us and said there were no more rooms available but there was clearly no one else staying there. We booked the room for the jacuzzi but it was disgusting and our entire stay was the worst. We ended up booking a room somewhere else and NOT staying there so I was very upset about the money wasted on booking this hotel. I recommend NOT staying here ever and going elsewhere with your money!!
