Good size room, facilities in great shape. The location in central Monterey makes for easy access to a wide variety of restaurants, as well as several walking options. Good options for breakfast offered as part of price for room.

The condo that we rented was absolutely wonderful. The beds and the furniture were very comfortable, and the condo was spacious with a wonderful view of the peaceful cove. We enjoyed sitting on this spacious porch.

All three bedrooms had access to separate bathrooms and all beds were queen-size or king-size. The ocean view was awesome - though the deck could use some paint or varnish touchups. The kitchen set up was great.

It was odd to have one of the bedrooms down in the garage area (and without a TV in it). The main TV in the living area was much smaller than we're accustomed to in a vacation rental. Only other issue was the group of homeless campers just below the hot tub part of the deck - however they did not cause us any disruption.

Breakfast was awful! We booked hotel through booking.com. we had no idea hotel was being remodeled so no continental Breakfast

They charge $42 a day for parking!!! No continental because of remodeling and no pool!! When I told the manager if he could do something. Maybe deduct 2 days off for parking he said no. He said all he could do was cancel my reservation and I could find another hotel! That didn't help considering I had 2 small children and it was late at night!! Management was not helpful. Spent too much money and no amenities!!!

1. The outside pool was filthy. My grandson could not swim because it was so dirty. 2. The tub drained badly. I was up to my ankles in water during my whole shower. 3. Breakfast wasn’t very sizable compared to other places. 4. I didn’t realize when I booked it that it was a motel with outside entrances-not a hotel. I didn’t know that Best Westerns had that sort of set-up. If I had known, I would not have booked it.
