Every single thing. Thank you Mrs. Bobby for the support when I was so tired. Sitting in a chair in the balcony at sunset makes me sorry for staying just one night, after the trial-and-error of a couple of hotels. I’ll do my best to go back. It is a common place to say that Mt. Shasta is a magic place Nope! From my experience, I correct to: Mt. Shasta is a magic place if one stays at Evergreen Lodge.

I was traveling from Northern WI back to SE MN when threatening weather required an emergency stop. When I called Cathy , she was so kind to take me under her wing. The accomodations were cozy and the breakfast was delightful. She even got up extra early just to go to the store because I like cream with my coffee.

The room was very old and compared to the rooms across the hallway. The bathroom was tiny with no space for any toiletries. I paid extra for a king room when my friend paid less for a double queen bed room and her room was much nicer. The parking situation for your hotel is ridiculous also and not clearly explained on the website. The way the website reads, there will be a parking spot available in your lot for a fee. When in reality that just is not the case. We had to park many blocks away because the hotel lot was always full.

Upon opening the door, a musty smell hit me in the face. The rug was dirty and needed to be either cleaned or replaced. Also, the a/c filter was dirty.
