We had a suite with two queen beds and a pull out couch. It is nice to have this option with three children. The breakfast was nice. My family took advantage of the made to order eggs. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Our room had a bathroom that was just the shower and toilet. The sink was in the larger room. I sort of get this concept, but I don't like that there is no way to wash your hands before opening the door. It means the door handle is always dirty (kinda gross). The other issue is that there is nowhere to set down your clothes or toiletries while in the bathroom because there is no counter. Are we supposed to set our things on the toilet? (Kinda gross). As with all hotels, there is only one hook in which to put our five wet bath towels and five wet bathing suits. I try to have everyone hang up everything in the closet so it has a chance to dry. There are not normally enough hangers and a high likelihood that the suits will drip on the floor. Lastly, with the water cups, ice bucket, coffee cups, coffee pods, and coffee machine there is not much counter space left.

Nice room with a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was very handy and the sitting area was relaxing. Everything was very spacious and within close walking distance of a number of restaurants and shops.

The recent renovations were obvious, some things hadn't even been cleaned up yet or were even operable. The AC unit was very loud and the chairs/couch needed extra cushioning. TV in sitting area couldn't get picture, just audio.

We loved the convenience of everything being so easily accessible. When we checked in the staff was super friendly! He greeted us and was reassuring about the security and parking and provided great service.

The booking listing states that check out is at 11:30 but we were called at 11:06 and asked if we were staying another night. To our surprise checkout was actually at 11:00! The front desk gave us until 12:00 but upon us checking out at 11:38 the front desk attendant was very short and seemingly frustrated with us. We thoroughly apologized for the situation but she was just very unfriendly.

The owners said that my reservation was cancelled and initially tried to deny me my reservation when I arrived at my scheduled arrival time. After speaking with management for 30 minutes, the only way that I was given a room was to purchase another one. This resulted in me being charged twice and my room being downgraded. I appreciated that they were able to provide me with a room, but the initial resistance they showed and the hassle of being charged twice created a huge headache.
