The place has character. It is older and a little quircky, so not for this who just want a standard hotel. It was comfortable and clean. The decks look out on the lake. We could see the lake from our window. The staff was great. They purchased it in Feb and are working hard to improve it. I'd go back.

Nettie at the front desk was terrific- great personality! The room was big and comfortable, and the WiFi worked well. The location is good, right next to a casual restaurant, and close to the center of town

The property is older, and the grounds need sprucing up. Just a little bit of mold in the bathroom. I estimated about 80 guest rooms, but the breakfast area only had 5 tables! The worst part of my stay was the garbage truck collecting at 5:30am, banging dumpsters for 5 minutes. They woke up everyone at the property

Nice clean room. It was very quiet. Close to the Badlands NP. Friendly staff. Dining room was being remodeled so I was given a voucher to a local restaurant.

The night clerk told us the room was $50 more than the reservation said. A charge for the extra $50 was gone by morning and the correct charge appeared on our card. Alls well that ends well

Breakfast was very basic & oatmeal was water everyday, no bed bug protectors on the mattresses which is why I’d probably never stay again. With as much business as they get, you would think this should be a priority with so much travel. The beds are very cheap and flimsy also. There no water pressure in the showers either.
