- “The bakery was in a lovely quiet location only a short drive to a village with a shop and chip shop , it was really spacious and had all the amenities that you would need a lovely shower , the place was gutted out really well is I slept on the bed settee and it was comfy , beautiful views out to the hills , cows in the next field , free range chickens and the owners dogs were all lovely .”

  I love how friendly everyone was. I love The Oak Cafe Restaurant. The breakfast and dinner were very good. I also wanna shout out Ms. Glenda the security guard she's so sweet and Alaina in the oak restaurant she was very cool and remembered us every day. Love the Scarlet Pearl we will be back!!!

  missing little things....dust pan & brush; vacuum cleaner or at least a broom; more nitelights; more hooks(in closet & bathroom), etc. Check in confusing...come in at the North Tower, but all doors from the parking garage are locked to the hotel until you finally work your way to unlocked doors at the South Tower where registration is. Also, shocked to find there was a $50 fine for early check-in, just raised to $100 when we left!(didn't actually experience the fine, but flabbergasted that it existed)

  Broken exterior doors. Windows dirty. Doors windows dirty. Room had only two regular (stained) towels, two hand towels. NO wash clothes. The king-sized bed had a very soft, mussy foam five-inch type mattress. The welcome throw that laid across the clean white spread was stained, dirty.

  A/C unit was not working. They had complainers before and didn’t fix it! It was hot and uncomfortable! Floor was slippery with the a/c “fan” on TV wasn’t working at all!! And no privacy curtain! You could see inside! We had kids! Had no where else to stay so we had no choice! WILL NOT RETURN!!!

  That the hotel was not as advertised. It seemed dirty and uncomfortable We could not get a refund even tho we walked in saw the room and turned the keys back in. Also we found a hotel on the water that was clean and friendly that cost less than the room that was booked
