destination reviews from real travelers

How does it work?

  • 1

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

  • Condes de Barcelona

    - “The hotel was perfect. Location is right in between two metro stations that would take you anywhere you want. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was smartly designed and had everything we needed. We had a very pleasant stay here and would definitely book again when we're back in Barcelona.”

  • Les Destinées

    - “excellent location near center of Chinon. Flor was very responsive and made you feel comfortable. He offered insights as to what to do, chateau to visit and biking options. Breakfasts were great and had locally grown ingredients....”

  • The Avonmore Olympia

    - “Everything was amazing”

  • Stella Naxos Island

    - “The owner of the please was very nice! The place was located perfectly. The price/ value was excellent. Breakfast was great!”

  • Adiwana Unagi Suites

    - “Our room had its own pool, which was nice to enjoy in private any time we wanted. The water is a bit cold (not freezing), same as the main pool. The room itself was comfortable, spacious, and the dining table plus bathroom areas were both partially outdoors. This gave it a unique jungle feel. There were thankfully a lot less bugs than I expected, not only at the hotel but around Ubud in general. The hotel staff was amazing, always ready to help and answer any questions. Daily breakfast was always very tasty and quite a feast when you consider that each meal comes with a full plate of fruits and a croissant on the side. The juice options are not identical each day so you can try different ones, although note that they add sugar to them by default. Massage at the spa was also very enjoyable and relaxing, although we reviewed that separately. For getting to central Ubud, I recommend a Grab scooter ride if possible (even getting two for a couple, for example), as car traffic sometimes backs up horribly and becomes a complete standstill for hours. On one occasion we got out of the car taxi and walked the rest of the way since cars had moved less than a quarter mile in 30 minutes. This is more about Ubud’s lack of traffic management systems than anything specific about the hotel. The hotel itself is in a great spot to explore the famous things around the area such as the monkey forest, rice paddies, a multitude of coffee/tea plantations, and even Mt Batur a bit further north. Overall, if I come back to Ubud, I would likely stay here again. Staff was good to us everywhere we went in Bali, but the ones at Adiwana stand out as the best, and the semi-outdoor feel of our room felt more like Bali rainforest than a traditional hotel room like we had later in our trip.”

  • Hotel Regina Simius

    - “Everything is good. Modern facility. Immaculate. Excellent breakfast. Including a whole grain croissant, that tasted fantastic The staff are very helpful and got me out of a bind. Thank you very much.”

  • Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport

    - “Hotel location was perfectly close to walk to after exiting customs and super exhausted after a 12 hour flight. Trying to figure out the train system at 21:00 at night and finding our hotel that late and in an exhausted state would not be ideal. Relaxing in the hotel onsen was extra relaxing after a good sleep lying flat on a bed. Plus I was adjusting to the time zone change and could sleep in past 4:30 Tokyo time. Food choices in terminal 3 was plenty to find something you want to eat.”

  • OA ThE FACTORY AT BUKIT BINTANG

    - “Love this place because it has everything you need. It's so comfy that I spent most days inside 😅 Perfect location with giant malls and food street a few steps away. Great staff, too.”

  • The Pavilions Amsterdam, The Toren

    - “Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I did all three and was completely satisfied with the quality of food.”

  • Apartamenty Mickiewicza

    - “Everything. The location is perfect. Everything is nearby. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff are so nice and helpful. It couldn't have been better.”

  • TURIM Oporto Hotel

    - “The room was the best for us 3”

  • AMAKS Russia Hotel

    - “It was not our first experience of AMAKS Rossiya, but this time everything was exceptional: friendly and helpful staff, perfect location, big fully renovated room (family studio, river view, balcony), exceptional cleanliness, very tasty breakfast, small patio inside the hotel and many other nice things”

  • Sakura Sky Residence

    - “Awesome lovely comfortable stay. Lovely staff as well.”

  • Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul

    - “It’s different in every aspect”

  • Fountain Beach Resort - Daytona Beach

    - “Very clean, everyone was so helpful! Great location!”

I also got a facial at the spa and it was such a good experience! The workers were so nice and inviting. The environment was so calming and relaxing. Everything was clean and smelled amazing! Overall experience I would stay here again and even recommend it to others! Such a cute and different space. But I would also express the negative as well.

I reserved a parking spot almost a month before my arrival and I was told that people that decided to stay another night last minute were given the parking spots again which I didn’t think that made sense. (On vacation I like to sleep in) we were stressing after the hotel send a message to check out at 8am due to the pride parade the night before check in. They stated we would be stuck due to them shutting down streets which was not true. They shut down one street and we ended up checking out at 11 and had no issues leaving the hotel. Someone set the alarm in the hotel at 6am then I received a text from the hotel at 7am reminding me to check out at 11. I do not know anyone that wants to be woken up at 7am while on vacation. We checked out the speak easy and asked the male bartender where the free popsicles were and he seemed annoyed and acted almost like he didn’t know what I was talking about and stated “he didn't know about the popsicle situation”. Luckily we walked around and found the popsicles on our own. The room was extremely cute and had good music playing. The room seemed very bclean but we did find a cockroach.

We loved the overall ambiance of the place. The staff were awesome (especially Lief, Mary, and Jasen). The food in the main dining area was very good, and we loved the Violinist. The tour was informative and interesting!

The availability of parking is not good, and paying $12 a day for Valet because there was no available parking was a little over the top. The phone in my room did not work. There was no available breakfast restaurants for early mornings and also none in the immediate areas surrounding the hotel.

Check-in was great. Kita was very friendly and welcoming. Bed was super comfortable. Location was good. It's on the strip with shopping, gas, and restaurants. Longhorn is in walking distance from hotel.

Room was as clean as possible. However, furniture and wood items are dated and need cosmetic care to look better. Curtains in the room are tattered and falling from railing. Hallway smelled unpleasant (2nd floor). I suspected that the smell came from the trash bin near the elevator. Breakfast was lacking. No one was there to attend to the area. I gave up on someone replenishing the food and went to Chik fil a to grab breakfast. Parking is odd. Not really enough spaces to get in and out on the front.
