Loved that it was so close to downtown, you have to drive, not walking distance. But the 1 mile distance makes it seem like you went from city to country life in about 6 minutes. It was quiet. They had games you could borrow from the front office. The ladies at the front office were very attentive to our questions, and the check-in and check out were seemless.

The campers could have been cleaner. Even if they can't do a deep clean between each visit, they have time, I'm sure, during the week to deep clean a few a day. The utensils behind the stove were covered in grease and dust. Honestly, it's a bad location for these items. If they are not going to be cleaned after each stay, they should probably place them in a cabinet to prevent this. The lighters in both our campers were out, again not major but something that can be quickly checked during each cleaning to ensure no issues during the stay. On the plus all I did was walk down to the office and they gave us new ones immediately. Just a small irk, but we asked if we could see one of the bigger units to see if it would accommodate use with my mother instead of 2 separate units next time, and they said no. I'm not sure as to why we were not asking for a key but for one of them to go with and show us for 5min. Could have been an upsell for them next time. All of that being said, we would and will go back.

The location was amazing! I love how in the lobby the hotel offers free beach towels, chairs and beach toys. They also have community sunblock and coolers to borrow!

Staff was not very friendly (specifically the breakfast clerk) and breakfast was gross. Got microwaveable pancakes. Rooms were also not as clean as the reviews stated. Bathroom and walls were really dirty so was the remote control. Not much privacy, walls were very thin, you could hear everything outside of the rooms.

Front desk guy Carlos was awesome at check-in, room was so comfy and clean, all staff was kind, location was exceptional. Wish I could have had a water view though!

the staff tried...just could tell they were overwhelmed and that we were not in the best area.

staff was overworked and we came in at 230 and told we could get a downstairs instead of an upstairs and to come back...2 hrs later we had to still switch rooms and wait for the room. The floor was soaking wet and when i dried it with a towel,,,the towel was black. No ice because there was only one ice maker and no coffee in the morning or room. The shower leaked all night and sprayed everywhere when on. The bed was beyond uncomfortable....just overall a yucky filthy place!

Very wet folded bath towels were discovered for our last morning shower. There was no sink leak. Maybe the central laundry dryer broke down. I could understand something like that, but a note would have been nice explaining the situation.
