  The location and value for the price are great. So close to cute shops and restaurants and the beach. The property and rooms are charming. The bed was comfortable. The heater in the bathroom works well and the shower was great. Street parking was easy to find.

  There were ants and one bit me. Mostly I saw them in the bathroom area. The pillows were uncomfortable. The pillows did not have protectors/allergen barriers under the pillow cases. You can hear every noise from the street. The fireplace did not work. It would be nice to have staff on the premises after 4 pm.

  The shower, the breakfast and the pools were exceptional. Very relaxing. The tea as something to sip on.

  I wasn't aware the pools did not have jets until the last day. It would have been nice to have some more small touches, plants and towels. Also, instructions for local things to do or the closest beach access.

  Room was clean with a nice view. Liked the floor to ceiling windows. Bed was comfortable.

  There was construction work going on during our stay. Only one elevator was working. The other was dedicated to the construction projects. Also, I thought I had booked a king bed with a sofa bed pull out, but it was just a small sofa. We were traveling with our teenage son who was too tall for the sofa, but had to sleep on it anyway as the hotel was sold out for the weekend. The description of the room should say sofa, not sofa bed. It was misleading.
