The host was great! Very responsive even though we were in different time zones. The apartment itself was wonderfully cozy and quiet. I loved that it was less than a five-minute drive to Whole Foods, Target, the mall, and an extensive selection of restaurants, making it easy to access everything I needed without any hassle.

I had to work during my stay and the lack of a desk made it a little tricky, but not really an issue for someone there for play. There is plenty of parking, but it can be tricky on a holiday weekend if the other tenants have visitors.

Borrego Springs is an interesting location. Front desk staff were nice. Restaurant staff were pretty good. ground were nice. Felt safe. Quiet. Allow dogs.

woman in charge of bar was beyond rude. AC did not work and room was boiling after about 3pm. pass key to facilities did not work. Overall, resort was "dated." Bathroom was particularly tired. And very overpriced for what was offered.

Broken down stairs toilet, dirty floors that need to be mopped. Limited toilet paper. Bird’s nest at front door that was pooping on the front porch. The local property manager wouldn’t return calls or respond to voicemails. Had to call vacasa directly. Mold in downstairs guest restroom. Cracks in walls.

When we entered our room the heating had been set at 90 degrees and the room was sweltering. There was a small, older, air conditioner positioned in the bathroom area. Front desk told us to turn it on open the windows to cool the room. We left for over an hour, upon return the room was still very warm, left the door open for another two hours to get it cool enough to sleep. Staff obviously had not been in that room for a while not to notice the setting on the thermostat.
