Fort Bragg, California
Positive section of review
Room was small but very clean. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING offered in our room. We did have a tall rotating fan in the corner to use. Luckily it was cool this time of year (mid May) in Fort Bragg, so fan was not needed the evening we stayed. Beds were comfortable. The location is right off of Highway 1 which has a lot of traffic, but the room was very soundproof, so we were not bothered by any loud traffic noise.

They do not offer any type of breakfast at this hotel. There is a coffee maker in the room if you like that, but we are not coffee drinkers. Luckily there was a very nice and clean McDonalds across the street that we drove to for a morning meal. We were also disappointed that the mini golf facility, that is part of the hotel, was closed. (closed Monday and Tuesdays).

It was a cute comfortable and safe place to stay convenient to the Subway to NYC. We had trouble getting the key out of the lock and the Host was very responsive to calls and messages to help us at a very late hour. Necessary items were missing, but she brought them to us early the next morning.

The place had not been throughly cleaned. There was a broken chair and a broken cabinet door in the kitchen. One wall plug emited a spark when I attempted to plub in my phone charger. We arrived after midnight to find only one towel, one half roll of toilet paper and no blanket. It got cold that night. It would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water waiting in the fridge.

The Motel was clean, and I felt safe in my surroundings. The Staff was friendly and helpful. Such a beautiful town - had never been before.

The bed was comfortable. The space was beautiful. It was convenient for the work I was there to do. It was very quiet and I felt safe.

It was a nice little kitchen. There were no coffee filters for the coffee pot. It was odd that there were pots and pans but nothing to use them on to cook.

It smelled like weed and it is a non smoking room. I had to spray deodorant spray so I could tolerate the smell. And you have to pay 10.00 for parking. Wow
