“Get rid of your routine stays”, with this property that will have you fearing for your life with its lack of basic safety features- the 3 large windows in the bedroom do NOT lock (wood is weathered and warped) and there’s a sizable gap in the doorknob and door frame that not only allows for bugs to enter (evidenced by the live and dead ones in the apt.), but also leave you to wonder if someone could easily access your property. I didn’t stay to find out. To add to the suspense- there are multiple homeless encampments down the street from this property and behind the property. The “non-smoking” apartment also smelled distinctly of smoke and paint. This property presents clear habitability violations according to the state of Massachusetts, as it is not safe and habitable in its current condition and as such should not be listed on booking.com, airbnb, and other sites. For reference, I live in a large urban city, but also have functioning doors and locks.

This unit lacks basic safety features as it has unsecured doors and non-functioning locks. Additionally the unit is on a street that is occupied with large groups of homeless individuals (tents, carts, trash, etc). Within only a few minutes of being in the area I observed a woman urinate outside and open drug use on the street. The exterior door to the property has a doorknob with a large gap (you can see inside and outside) that is falling off and could easily be pulled off and removed to gain access to the property. Furthermore the 3 large windows do not lock (the wood is weathered and warped and the layers of paint prevent them from closing). The grates on the windows leave large gaps that could allow someone to easily access and enter the window. In the less than 15 minutes that I was in the property I observed bugs and the apartment smelled heavily of smoke (especially in the bathroom) and paint. Given the safety concerns, I immediately left and contacted Booking.com to cancel the stay. Given the large cancellation penalty, they said they would try to resolve directly with the owner, who denied the request. The owner asked for photos, which I provided photos indicating the above statements but has not responded to date. However, I have been charged the full rental price despite contacting Booking.com within 15 minutes of arriving at the property to cancel. As a result of the clear safety concerns, I was not able to stay in the property and had to seek alternate accommodations at an additional cost.

Loved the location! Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We loved the parking deck and the convenience to the elevator. Room was spacious and clean! Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast, but had a lot of variety and was still good.

Not much to complain about. The only thing I can think of is if the pool water had only been warmer. My kids enjoyed it, but we couldn't make ourselves get in :)

At first they were a little rude but when I explain to them that it was my birthday and I didn’t have the 100 deposit they accommodate me and put me in a beautiful clean room the pool didn’t work and The manger asked for you to haves respect for his property and not smoke in the room because they have damaged the blankets and that’s understandable so I went outside to smoke a cigarette I recommend this hotel if you want to be closer to the boardwalk and the casino I feel like the price for the room is to much money I paid 220$ plus there is a 100$ deposit for the room if you damaged the room I will be back on July 4th but I don’t think I will be staying in the hotel I will be going back home to save money
