  The hotel has a great location, walking distance to the pier and many restaurants. The room was clean and the valet parking had a fair price compared to other hotels in the area.

  The elevator was not working throughout the 4 days we stayed and had to go up steep stairs up to the third floor every time we went out. There was a lot of street noise, and there is a bar right below the hotel with very loud music that you could hear inside the hotel room.

  1st room had a sink clogged so they moved us. (Mot a big issue) TV kept going in and out. (Internet issues) One little soap for the bath doesn't seem reasonable when you have 3 adults.

  I liked the location as it was close to the venue we would be attending that night. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

  Upon check-in we were told that we had to pay for our room at that time, however, I had paid in advance. Could not check us in until a manager arrived to help figure it out. Our room was given out to another couple right after we checked in and they walked in on us. Our room card was then deactivated when we tried getting back into it because of their confusion with giving it out to two different guests. Many of the things in the hotel were out of order (ice machine on our floor, for one). The "in case you forgot" items cases were all empty. There were no cups for drinking in our room. There was nothing refilled for breakfast and we had hardly anything to eat at all. Also, the orange juice was out of order so could not get any of that. We were again walked in on when we were packing to check-out by someone trying to clean the room even though checkout was more than an hour away. To end on a sour note, when we were originally waiting to check-in, the manager came to the long line of guests waiting and told us all that he was giving everyone $50 off of their rooms due to the inconvenience of the backup. Since we paid in advance, we got no discount at all. This was one of the most disappointing stays we have ever experienced at a Hampton Inn. We also spoke with several other guests there and they were all very disappointed with their stay.
