  we left too early for breakfast, that said the coffee/tea, etc was great and easy to access and the staff helped with freezing our icepacks to protect meds on our early flight the next morning... the staff also had several recommendations for our dinner the first evening. Shuttle pick up to return to the hotel to pick up our car at the end of the trip was also excellent the driver was helpful and courteous

  The lodge was within 5 minutes driving to everything. Our room was clean and very large. We loved being close to the office for easy access to the cookies, coffee and lemon water! We didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool but it looked very inviting, as well.

  The location is excellent, close to all attractions and French Quarter. The hotel housekeeping was amazing, I forgot my jacket in the hotel and they contacted me and mailed it to where I traveled. Excellent service and facilities

  It was quiet. Ft. Lauderdale hotels can be loud because of the bars and the traffic noise.

  Google maps takes you to the South Gate which is for residents. Guests need to go just up a little further to the North Gate which handles guests. The whole property is a loop from North Gate to South Gate. If you aren’t from the area, descriptions with a map would help.
