The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The location, breakfast, and staff were all amazing. The breakfast was a good mix of fresh cooked (and frequently refreshed), and cold items as well. The staff were very helpful (since parking is at the parking garage but is included with the hotel) and answered any questions we had. The location of the hotel was also great as it was right in the center of everything we were looking for (we went to Dry Bar Comedy about 2 blocks away, and Mosaic church which was also about a block away).

The parking was just a little confusing, and we checked in prior to parking. Not sure if you can park first, but I recommend checking in first, where they will take the license plate so that you can park free and not worry about coming or going.

Likes: Beds were comfortable, loved the blackout curtains, breakfast was better than average. If you have an event at the NRG stadium then it's an awesome location, and overall it's a good location pretty near some local attractions. The rooftop pool is "cool" but is small and the location makes it windy and brisk, even on the sunniest of days.

Dislikes: Nothing within walking distance from location. The hot tub is small and the jets are places such that they shoot water out in your face in the most un-relaxing way. Yes, it has a little kitchenette, but the microwave is on top of the fridge, not accessible to an average height person. There is no pantry or storage space for non-refrigerated food items so you end up storing your food items on the island meant for eating on. The island only has 2 chairs, where is the rest of the family supposed to eat? There is a lot of wasted space in the kitchenette that makes it much less than ideal for travelers with families. The living area is small and cramped. Only one remote for both the living area and bedroom TV's. No luggage racks. When we tried to check in 30 minutes were initially told there was an extra $50 fee, then were told it was not a problem, that we would be texted when room was ready. An hour later, 30 minutes after stated check in time, we still had not received a text. When I asked front desk staff they told me that "Oops" our room had been given to someone else but that we were now a priority. After checking again, we were finally given a room key only to discover it was not the room we had reserved. We had to bring in a manager and there was a lot of confusion and disorganization. However, once we finally were given the correct room, no concessions were offered for their mistakes, except a bottle of water. We decided on this room because it was supposed to be good for families, and were willing to spend the extra 100-200 dollars for a more premium experience as opposed to a Residence Inn or the likes, but that was not the experience we ended up having and in hindsight I would have just saved the money for what ended up being a sub-par stay. The pictures look nice, but overall this hotel is not worth the cost or headache.

The essentials of the stay, being two beds and a bathroom, were present. The room was somewhat large. While somewhat creepy, the exterior door made loading in and out very easy and quick.

The front lobby was not staffed during what one would consider normal office hours for a motel lobby (6 or 7am-11pm). Both at check-in and check-out, there was no one available to immediately to assist us. The door to the lobby had a small sign that listed multiple numbers to try for assistance. While the listing said we'd be able to check-in anytime before 11pm, it took multiple calls before anyone picked up and an employee emerged from a door inside the locked lobby to assist us, well before 11pm. Checkout in the morning consisted of putting the keys in a mailbox with no interaction. My travel companion said that there were people lingering near our room at night and that it made her too uncomfortable to return to our vehicle, which was parked just outside the room's door.

I was surprised to what I found upon check in. For starters it sits next to what appears to be an abandoned home. I booked unit #2 which is the basement of the home which you enter from the backyard. The ceilings are very low, maybe 6 1/2’. The biggest issue with this property I had was the noise. Upon checking in my wife and I could hear whoever was above us as if they were in the same room. Absolute zero privacy. We decided to leave and book a hotel room in town. I reached out to the property owner and did not receive a response therefore I felt I should leave a honest review of my experience. We spent less money on a hotel room than what we paid to be here, at least now I know for next time.
