The location was great and the check in process was smooth. We found parking right outside though it is quite limited. The downstairs bar area was lively and I liked the living room area for working and reading. The room had everything you needed and I liked the TV interface. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room had everything you needed to work, sleep, and dress for the day.

The room we were in was incredibly small. The bed spanned the width of the room and was placed against the window and only allowed entrance from one side. As a couple this meant that if you wanted to get up in the middle of the night you had to crawl over or wake your companion. The bathroom was a shower - toilet combo unit (like on a boat/ship) which is efficient but didn’t feel that private. Ultimately, I think this room is perfect for a solo traveler but not necessarily great for a couple, even for those who are incredibly close.

The architecture and cleanliness of the Highland Resort was superb. Amazing continental breakfast, the gardens, situated within tall redwood trees, you really felt the escape into the woods. Staff was always pleasant and delivered exceptional hospitality towards all guests. Job Well Done!

Barking dog from the neighbors as I slept in a glamping tent. I know you can't control that but at certain times of day it does break away from the great experience of the property.

The toilet flush strength was very weak. Was tricky how to figure out how to drain a Jacuzzi cause we never used one before lol. But the staff showed us how after asking, they were helpful.

Address was incorrect, but we figured it out. Metal steps going straight up to unit. You had to be very careful going up and down. Unit door was difficult to lock took many tries. Unit seemed fairly clean, but looked nothing like the pictures. Fairly bare. Minimal accessories. Owner would not answer questions. I could go on.
