Stayed in Castle Glen. We loved the cosiness of the cabin and the kitchen. It's very quiet and we didn't hear neighbors at all despite it being a duplex. The wood burning fireplace and the extra blankets are luxurious. We liked exploring the property, there were elk, wild bunnies, robins, woodpeckers, pigeons and squirrels and there is a pathway on the grounds to Wapiti Pub right next door for great food and drinks. We hiked all day and then came to the cabin to light a fire, watch movies and listen to the river. There is also a guest book that we loved reading.

Couldn't ask for a better location or vibe. If you are a big group get the two bedroom or bigger because we were five adults and a little stuffed in but still really enjoyed everything.

Great location. Short little walk to the beach. Lots of shopping within walk in distance. The hotel was clean. The staff is always working and easily accessible.

The walls are thin. You can hear everything that’s going on in the hallway. The rooms were nice and roomy but you could hear every conversation in the hallway and every door that slammed of people coming in and out.

It was a very cheap stay. Working refrigerator. Desk worker was nice, also did not charge the $100 deposit that the sign said was required.

Unfortunately I didn’t take very many photos so these are what I have. NO ELEVATOR, DON’T BRING A LOT OF STUFF. Very dirty, it felt like only the most used surfaces were cleaned. The tabletop, toilet seat, bathroom counter, and beds were all clean. But the rest was.. kinda disgusting. There were cheezits on the floor in the bathroom, mysterious substances on the walls, the seats were stained disgustingly. The window was cracked badly and just covered with tape (which had also broken so there were easily touchable sharp edges of glass). The room was laid out very odd, one bed was within probably 6 inches of the wall and the other was probably 6 feet from a wall. I don’t understand why they weren’t more centered, it also left the room feeling very barren on that side. Parts of the floor were sticking up and nearly tripped us several times. Lots of dents in the walls and door. Sketchy person outside yelling incoherent things at us when we entered. And a DIFFERENT sketchy person outside when we left. Overall definitely recommend avoiding, even if it is cheap.

- beddings were not fresh, smelled previous guests ‐ 3 big towels were dirty, 2 if them also were wet - pillows filled with stone-hard chunks - matresses were too hard and springs constantly squeaks - as this is cheap motel other guests were mostly lower than middle class. I saw different people who shook and damaged the ice machine, spit on the floor, spilled coffee on the bench next to the exit, smoked, shout loudly all the night, played loud music in their car on the parking lot. - men's club next door

1. My room smelled like dog pee. Really, really terrible odor. I tried to nap in the afternoon but could not fall asleep due to the smell. I asked a cleaning lady to spray it and she did but it did not help. I did not ask to be moved because a friend was staying across the hall. Her room smelled fine. But boy did my room stink. Second worse hotel room of my entire life. 2. Breakfast was not free. I swear I read on website that free breakfast was included and I was specifically looking for a hotel with free breakfast.

I didn’t like there was no signal for the tv , no ac access, we could turn down the AC , nor we couldn’t turn the fan with out the light being on very uncomfortable to sleep in those conditions
