Positive section of review
Location: This place is just 0.4 miles from the metro station, Ballston MU! They provide a free shuttle for those who don't want to walk. You can take the metro to DC and be there in just 15 minutes! Breakfast: They have a decent selection of food, much better than other hotels of the same level. Staff: Some of the staff are really nice, kind, and helpful. Housekeeping: They do housecleaning daily, which is a plus for a two-star hotel.

1. The hotel building and rooms are old, with depressing colors. 2. They failed to offer extra blankets, providing only sheets. They give me a baby crib without a blanket. One of the evening staff , a girl, went better than this and gave us comforters 3. One of the evening shift staff initially said they didn't have a rollaway bed, but later mentioned they have it for $15 per night. 4. The elevator is in poor condition; it is super old, and only one works, which is sometimes out of service. 5. There is no laundry room.
Cocoa Beach, Florida

Location was unmatched, from our room we had less than a 2 minute walk to the beach! We could see the oceanline from our window, it was great. Liked that they gave us 3 patio chairs to sit out back, provided plenty of towels and a broom in the room to sweep up sand behind ourselves so it wasn't stuck there the entire stay. They provided dishes & a soap/sponge, which was helpful.

The beds were noisy and extremely uncomfortable, awful spring mattresses. Hated that there was no 24/7 front desk. While we were out at dinner, our AC stopped working and we came back to a VERY hot room. Could not get in touch with anyone from the office, called and left a message but they did not fix it until around 10a the next morning. There were roaches in the room and water damage around the AC that made me worry about mold. We tried to check out early and get our money back for our 2nd night since we weren't going to stay again and risk another night with no AC, but they wouldn't. We were also not credited anything or offered anything for the inconvenience of having to sleep in a 90 degree room, so that was unfortunate.

Perfect location within Big Canoe to access the many amenities and clubhouse. The home was beautifully furnished and the kitchen was well equipped for making meals.

The initial price was good. The indoor pool looks nice but we didn’t stay more than 15 minutes.

The rooms look very nice as does the hotel itself based on the website. We checked in and they charge a $250 hold to be refunded within 30 days. We checked into an extremely hot room and the phones dont work. We used our cellphones to call the front desk. They told us they knew the AC was out but they’re not disclosing that to guests. They removed the $250 hold but will not refund the cost of the room.
