Location (close to family), outdoor pool (pool floats, kick boards included), sitting area around pool with grill, firelace and tv, 24 hour tea, coffee, etc., water provided at check in, breakfast (good variety) and 11 check out a plus. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. A welcome text is sent as well. The decor of the hotel was nice.

🤔 I'm thinking...the towel hook broke in the bathroom. Reported it in the welcome text, and they offered to come fix it, I declined. So, 🤷♀️

Excellent full breakfast w hard boiled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals, etc, including fruit picked from trees along the garden walkways. Pool was pleasantly half shaded for afternoon use Manager helpful

They let us check in 2 hrs. earlier since there was a room available at the time we got there. I idd email that request and the highest floor and they came through for us.

Room was great but it felt damp and smelled a little must on the 2nd day. Breakfast was good except for Monday and Tuesday - No hot breakfast only biscuit to heat up in microwave

For those of you sticking around, the space is billed as an “apartment” and part of a quadroplex. As I’ve lived in a Quad the last 3-4 years I liked the idea of less neighbors than the apartments of typical home stays, and the egregious prices of entire houses. When my family and I arrived, it was easy to see that this was not an apartment, but an unfinished basement efficiency with direct connection into the main house. There are many reasons why listing an unfinished basement, where the walls a between the rest of the house and the efficiency have a foot gap left off the top, the roof is visible throughout, and there is no centralized air is a problem. 1. Lack of Transparency with the location; I would have never booked this property if it had been listed correctly. There is a stark difference between an apartment that is intended as its own separate unit, and a portion of a large home with only 1 locked door between you and who knows who else. 2. Heat and humidity; basements are poorly insulated. They soak in heat and trapped hot air from air conditioning running through the house, with none going through the basement. This also creates condensation leaks which accumulated in the cobbled together kitchen area as there was no where for the excess heat from cooking to go. For the night my family had to purchase 2 box fans in order to have any airflow, an expense that wouldn’t have been needed in an apartment that lists aircon as a feature. 3. Maintenance; all rental stays have issues. That’s the virtue of high turnover and lack of dedicated personnel, but the multiple burnt out bulbs, missing cutlery, and fire alarm beeping from dying batteries at some other location in the house that was inaccessible from the basement, and therefore very uncomfortable all night. As well as the circuit breaker being located in the bedroom, so when a breaker was tripped at 1am we had to hear it fail repeatedly through the night.

Breakfast was excellent. Good quality and a variety of choices.

Several items were not satisfactory. Telephone did not work, not enough towels for the shower and there was no bath mat for the shower. But these problems were promptly addressed and corrected. We do recommend that a safety rail should be installed for the shower.
