Beautiful amazing food as always , great ambiance whether you are inside the restaurant or outside ! Since nee owners took over they are doing so many amazing upgrades that this will become your sanctuary quaint lil inn as it is mine and you’ll never go anywhere else ! Jim Thorpe 6 min away , 15 min away from the nice relaxing Mauchunk lake for boating , kayaking ,paddle boarding/boat ,fishing and or the manmade lake with 3 swimming holes to cool off …. If you have kids they’ll sleep good for you lol Great romantic getaway with that special someone ! 3 Sioux Chefs check out Macalusos restaurant on FB for incredible menu board and information on special holidays or an event you may be having ! It’s been awhile since I did a review this was a must do ! You are always treated like family ! Peaceful and quiet when done from the days activities ! Pictures on my next stay for the 4th of July holiday !

Dirty bug infested carpet smelled like urine tvs barley worked my luggage was stolen here while I was checking in also also the staff was staying in a room space behind the desk and had little kids back their with them they don’t even have a proper kitchen for the living space their staying in on the property they owners live on the property in a hidden door space behind. Our bathroom was being remodeled and we needed a week before it would be finished. We picked Pony Soldier for the pool and found their breakfasts were great, the rooms comfortable and the staff helpful and very friendly.
