This is an older hotel that has been remodeled and renovated. everything in our room was new from the beds to the bathroom fixtures and COMPLETELY spotless! Thers is free wifi but no breakfast bar but you're only 3 blocks from downtown and many places to choose from for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This hotel is located in an older part of town but it's very quiet and peaceful. The staff are super friendly and care for their customer's complete comfort. Housekeeping came every day and gave us fresh new bath linens, took the trash out and cleaned the floors, every day! Our room was well equipped with an ironing board, iron, coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge and big screen tv. We're planning a return trip this fall and will be staying here again. So, if you don't mind not staying at a big new expensive building and going out to eat then this is your place. We will be back and recommend Budget Inn!

Old and run down, plumbing was horrible. Considering the price ug really needs some updating. Frequent calls to management to inform the toilet wasn't working.

Terrible and unsafe location. Booked a suite and they did not have kind of room shown on the website. The room was not secure and the door was open or couldn’t lock due to being damaged. It was hard to tell because the light switch was not working. They tried to give me another room option but it was still a cramped room and not a suite as shown on the site- which was what I booked. I should not be charged anything since the room I booked didn’t exist apparently. Also don’t plan to walk to dinner or anything nearby because this street is skid row. Surrounded by homeless and drug addicts. I couldn’t get better pics due to light not working but I included a pic of what I was supposed to have and a screen shot of booking details. We left and stayed for 3 days at the Hilton Garden Inn. That hotel is undergoing renovations and was still a thousand times better.

The owner was extremely rude to us. Pool was closed. When we asked why no reason was given. We only wanted to sit in the chairs but he would not open the gate. The room had a strong urine scent. My husband was covered in bites after sitting on the sofa in the room. Terrible stay and overpriced.

I did not like this hotel. Carpets were absolutely filthy, the bathtub looked like construction workers have been in it prior before painting the bath tub with flat wall paint. I was so scared to shower in the tub, I wore crocs to protect my feet. The kitchenette was filthy, grease buildup on the stove itself and on the cabinet handles above it. Nasty drawers, and beneath the kitchenette sink, it was atrocious. Everything smelled of mildew and mold in the hallways. I inspected our bed and noticed there were NO mattress protectors on it!! How GROSS. The pullout bed from the sofa had pretzel crumbs and old tags from clothes buried underneath the mattress. That shows how nice their housekeeping skills are in the hotel itself. The whole property looks like it was under construction and did not offer housekeeping daily.. which is odd to put guests in a hotel like that. They didn’t have extra toothbrushes or nothing for guests just in case they forgotten something during their stay. No front desk after 11pm. A train runs by near the hotel day in and day out, if you want sleep on your stay.. you got another thing coming. Not to mention they charged me by the day for our room and not charge us altogether for our stay upon arrival. In other words, STAY AWAY from here. Take your money elsewhere. We will not be back again.

The hotel and especially the rooms, smelled so strong. It smelled very strongly of cleaning chemicals and disinfectant. Had to rest with windows wide open and the smell was still overpowering. Did not sleep well at all.
