Daytona Beach, Florida

The location was great. The property was located on the beach and close to lots of places to eat, shop and things to do. The lobby is pretty and clean. The housekeeping staff is very nice and willing to help with any requests. Parking is free of charge. The view from our room was fantastic.

The pool area leaves a lot to be desired of. There are very few places to sit, people are able to get up early and save chairs using towels. They do not have their own chairs on the beach so you have to pay $50 per day to get a chair to enjoy the sun. The bar has incredibly limited hours by the pool to the point it might as well not exist. There is no physical way to get to the beach once the pool is closed from the hotel so people were jumping the fence and incredible safety issue. The hotel states it is a nonsmoking hotel however every time we got off the elevator we were greeted with the smell of pot - not ideal when traveling with your family. The bar inside the hotel makes underwhelming drinks at best. To top it all off after calling ahead about traveling with a service animal (although this is unnecessary) I was still charged and am still fighting to be refunded even after contacting corporate. The parking is a nightmare with limited parking.

Your location was close enough to the center of town to make it a convenient place to stay. My kids enjoyed your pool. the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

There was a hand towel in our room that had some sort of stain on it that was a bit off putting. The bathroom sink was also clogged and did not drain properly.

Delicious fresh breakfast, hotel clerk smiled and acted as if she liked her job. She was very accommodating. Queen mattresses were comfortable and covers clean.

However the pullout couch mattress was stained. The couch bed had crumbs and other debri inside the bed. Hotel clerk tried to move us to a different room but the new room wreaked of mold. The smell was unbearable, we decided to sleep in the other room but avoided sitting or sleeping on the couch. The bathroom shower head was crusty and had mold in the corners. We opted not to shower!

Staff was nice and courteous. Always helpful. Hotel is within a quick walk to the nearest streetcar. Cool air conditioning in the main room.

Location was a bit sketchy. Area outside smelled like pee. Keep in mind there is a city bus that picks up right outside the hotel so there can be a variety of people when you step outdoor your hotel. Breakfast was below par. No pancakes the whole week we were there. They had waffles one day, but they were frozen and you had to put them in the toaster. Saw a housekeeper at breakfast cleaning tables by simply wiping her had to dust off any leftover food on the table. Hallways to your room were very hot, no air conditioning. While the air conditioning worked well in the main room of our hotel room, the other two bedrooms were not, we had to leave the doors open so they would be cooled. The pullout sofa bed was the worst we have ever experienced anywhere. Literally like laying on the springs!! No swimming pool;(

Even on a weekday/school day, the pool was swarming with little children and their grandmothers? So, let's say you're a business traveler and want to take a refreshing dip or get a little exercise in the pool? Forget it, it's a kiddee swim club.

No courtesy water bottles. Hidden fees, Wasn’t aware of only valet parking $65 a night and $25 fee that you could use credit in one of restaurants/stores. Shower was dirty.
