After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The Grand Hotel was a great location! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The staff were enormously courteous, friendly, and helpful. I, also, appreciated that the hotel had an indoor pool with a shower, so after the beach, I could come to that shower unit and use it before driving home. The parking was super availalbe at the time I arrived and it was not far from the hotel. The Grand Hotel, also, had 2 restaurants inside and one was open 24/7 so you could access water bottles or other snacks during the evening. The room was spacious and had a wonderful balcony that I sat on and got some reading time in. All in all, this was a fabulous experience and I would highly recommend the Grand Hotel to anyone!

The only comment I will raise is that the Grand Hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from the major activities on the Boardwalk (in case that matters to some folks).

Great location-near major highways. Helpful staff- booked me a similar room on highest floor for less noise and foot traffic. And front desk was always staffed. Delicious full breakfast- scrambled eggs and sausage EVERY DAY along with waffles, bread/pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals. French toast and bacon on some days, too. LAUNDRY!! - this was the tail end of a long trip for me and I was grateful for the use of their full size washer and dryer! Comfortable beds. Slept so well! In-room microwave and fridge. Looking forward to booking them again. (Not sure why booking.com is saying I’m from Canada. I’m from the good old USA.)

Breathtaking view of the ocean, beautiful backyard garden, clean and comfortable unit with everything we needed plus extras like boardgames for my children and a heated bathroom floor. Friendly and responsive hosts. Two minutes drive from Larrupin’ Cafe, where you can enjoy a nice dinner.

Location is perfect, bed comfortable, free espresso machine in lobby. Valet parking is expensive but ypu can park in another garage across the street for a fraction of the cost. We were able to leave our luggage while we toured the city.

I loved the 50s ambiance yet updated rooms. Staff was friendly and bed was great. Much better than a cookie-cutter modern facility. I would stay here again.

It needed a bedside stand on one side of the bed.

The location

The parking and the accessible disabled parking are very limited Also, my bathroom and I’m sure other parts of my room were very very dusty and there was hair on the bathroom floor that really grossed me out. My towels were on top of the shelf that when I removed them, the shelf was very dusty and hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. The safe in the closet as well had not been wiped down bc I ran my finger across the top and you could see where I did that.

Our door look like someone had tried to knock it down previously. Even with it locked, the top was away from the frame about 2 inches.
