The price seemed ok but once I got there I realized that the structure was wearing down my entrance door and it's frame were damaged and out of square to the point I couldn't get in without having the house cleaning lady open it fir me , a man showed up at around 1130 pm and went to the room directly above me and started pulling pipe and hammering , a plumber / carpenter , I didn't sleep at all after he arrived and left at 530 am , Upset but just checked out and left . It's more of a monthly rate type hotel I learned after seeing the people hanging around , no ice no food , they wrote in the welcome message that covid was the reason they had shut all beverage and food completely off , I worked in construction when I was younger and believe I could of repaired the door frame in about 2 hours tops , having an entry way that isn't reliable seems very unprofessional as far as the management owner operater .

The room was very spacious, and the bed/pillows were incredibly comfy. They included toiletries, coffee, and a mini fridge in the room. We didn't take advantage of the included breakfast, but it was set up/ provided and we saw guests doing so. Close to many shops and restaurants, but unless you have plenty of time to spare, traversing to downtown on foot would not be doable. Luckily, it was a short drive from the hotel.

Some of the lights in our room didn't work. It didn't bother us much since there were plenty of lighting options in the room, but they were details of the slight disrepair in the hotel. The mini fridge's ice box had accumulated so much freezer burn/ice from frequent defrosting and refreezing that it prevented the door from actually closing. This made the mini fridge basically pointless. Another reviewer said it best: you can tell that this hotel was at once very grand, and in many ways, it still is. but for the most part, it shows its age. still, a GREAT stay (we were very pleased and comfortable, which was a total 180* from our last place on the road)

The property was very clean and beautiful. I love the kitchen. They had a television however it wasn’t working the Roku said it needed power. But we had our own. So it was good.

I have asthma and it seems like some one smoked in the house and it gave me headaches and I had a hard time breathing and sleeping.

The staff was helpful with my requests and helped me to get into the room. The location is excellent, near North Bend / Coos Bay and the Oregon sand dunes recreation site.

When you book you will want to get one of the larger rooms even at a higher rate. The small rooms don't have as good a view.
