  Host was very responsive. The home was amazing. Having 2 bedrooms was great for our family of 5. The boys got to hang in the bunk room without having to double up like in a hotel. The full kitchen allowed us to start our day peacefully. Everything was clean and easy to access. We loved the peace of the location while still being close to all the touristy entertainment without the noise. The pool area was clean and had great hours, so kids were able to still enjoy it even after being out all day. We had to bring our pet with us at the last moment. Loved that he was welcome at the property. He is not used to being crated during the day, but the welcome book offered some options for daycare, which was super helpful.

  Master bed was a little firm to our personal liking, but after a long day of hiking and sightseeing, we slept well and peacefully.

  The location was great. The 1920s apartment was built to withstand the gulf weather. The flow of the apartment was really easy and useful

  We weren’t prepared for getting our suitcases up the stairs, but managed it. The maintenance was lacking. The ceiling light was missing bulbs and the one working illuminated all the dead insects left in the cover. The shower water has rotted the wooden window frame. The fan in the kitchen ceiling doesn’t work making it uncomfortable to sit for any length at the table to eat. The table itself is unstable, causing drinks to spill. There were no placemats or tablecloths provided. The refrigerator door is hung on the wrong side making it difficult to retrieve items. There were limited linens but the host did bring more at our request.

  I enjoyed the comfort of the room. The bed and furniture was really nice and I was to relax. WiFi was excellent.

  The bathtub/shower did not appear to cleaned thoroughly. There appeared to be some dirt spots. In addition, the selection of tv channels were very limited and the remote control for the tv did not work properly. I had trouble navigating how to use the tv.

  They never answered my message 2 messages prior to arrival- always did in the past. We were not allowed early check in even though we have always had it in the past and we checked out at 6am this morning. We had a terrible view of restaurant roof and adjacent buildings.

  My bed had hair and dirt in the sheets. They made me pay for the entire stay at check in which I NEVER do. I always pay when I check out and they charged me $300 for incidentals which is usually all that’s needed at check-in. No hotel I’ve ever been in makes me pay upfront in case I charge things to the room. The staff did nothing when I told them my sheets were dirty and didn’t try to switch my room. So instead of me staying a week, I slept on the couch for 1 night and left the next morning. Will never come back.
