The place of stay was so clean and fresh, the place came with free WiFi and had all the amenities needed from kitchen needs such as oven, stove, toaster, kettle, etc. I feel like this was truly the best week of my life staying at the villa. At the end of the week, I had realized I made a terrible mistake with my booking and they very kindly and neatly cleaned my stuff up and held it securely in their office. I want to say personally again how sorry I was for the inconvenience! These people handle everything so professionally and kindly and even gave us a complimentary champagne in the fridge of my loved one and I. This location is nestled perfectly between the beach, the boardwalk and the wilderness. You wake up and go to sleep to the sounds of wilderness and can easily reach all tourist activities on the island by foot. If you need a vehicle to travel they have a garage that you can safely and securely park into. I fully intend to stay here again if I come back to Bribie island for vacation, and this time book things correctly for them! Thank you so much for everything you guys have provided! I will never forget this trip of mine to the most beautiful country I have ever seen!”

  The location is perfect — only a couple minutes walk to the state park. The reception staff are very sweet and helpful.

  The rooms were not the cleanest, but the housekeeper cleans the room if asked. There was a morning cleaning staff (I didn’t catch his name but he was big and white) and he was going around pushing people out of his way during breakfast: I saw him say “excuse me” while shoving people and proceeding to fill up the breads on display. The other staff were great though; very sweet and accommodating.

  i did not like that the pool closed at 8 pm even on weekends and in the summer… everywhere else i’ve stayed it’s at least 10 pm. there were actually a few others i heard complain about this too :(

  It needs updating and a DEEP cleaning. Carpets feel dirty under feet. Bathroom had dirt in corners. But for the price and compared to others in St Michaels it was a steal. The beds were clean and comfortable and sink, tub and toilet were spotless. It just needs an update. We have stayed there over 6 times during 2 years and it is always the same. No evidence of any renovations to rooms. But a bargain!!

  Bed was old(2013') according to mattress certificate and I have not been to a Holiday Inn Express where the mattress was not updated and comfortable. Toilets were old and not high rise. Breakfast was subpar. Gravy was so watered down it was like soup. No waffle maker which appears to be the norm for Holuday Inn Express. Staff said beds are scheduled to be replaced next summer.

  No cibs or pull out bed for babies. No bathtub, breakfasts not up to par (had too many vegetarian and vegan options not enough normal options), staff wasn't the nicest or accommodating, didn't tell me anything about an extra service/deposit fee until I asked why it was more expensive then listed, there was some type of bug in our room by the bed (not a bed bug but idk what it was), too noisy from other rooms, not much extra in the room for admentities and very small fridge (no freezer side either), no one at counter to wait to checkout (waited over 5 minutes) before just dropping key in box to leave but wanted paper copy of invoice of receipt of stay, charging ports for cell phones didn't all work. For the price we paid, I wouldn't recommend it, especially not with kids.
