  It was very clean. The property is private with a yard surrounded by woods. We especially liked the paths around the woods to walk our dog unleashed. The property is situated close to hiking trails and the fishing town of Menemsha for fresh seafood. The bed was comfortable and the linens appeared to be new and of good quality. It was nice to have a grill. The cottage was stocked with basic pantry items… tea, rice , oils, spices, sugar, baking items. There was a nice selection of children's books, toys and games for young and old.

  I was happy with the quality of the cookware, but a little disappointed with the amount of cookware since we were cooking in all of our meals. I made it work with what was there and all was well. A basting brush would be helpful for the grill. Although secluded, you can hear the traffic on North Rd.

  Easy access off the freeway without any traffic noise. Some of the CLEANEST dog friendly rooms we've ever stayed in. Staff are friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Breakfast..WOO HOOOO. Pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, tortillas,full complement of cereals, sweet breads, yoghurt and milk/almond milk. Easy access to the dog area: stocked with waste bags and receptacles Have an EV... Tesla charging station (huge with lounge) is just next door.

  As it turned out, our two daughters had, independently, chosen your place several years ago, and had mentioned the hotel to us at that time. However, neither my husband nor I had remembered that. So, the entire family has, independently, chosen your place and loved it. Happy hour was lovely, we enjoyed it on the porch. The wine was not a skimpy serving either. Hostesses were lovely and very helpful.

  Location is great, 2 min from the sunset beach. The staff was AMAZING. Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We had a second floor room with a balcony ( partial sea view). Room is freshly renovated in beach/sea colors. Well appointed with nice personal care products, a mini fridge and robes. Bikes are also available. Dog friendly!!

  The decor in the lobby and bar area was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was very easy.

  The music in the lobby/bar was very loud. Requested foam pillows but took 2 nights to get them. No drawers in room for clothes. A/C would not go below 74 so we had to ask for maintenance to fix, which they did but then it was stuck at 63. We were fine with that but it was odd we could not adjust it. Parking garage we had to pay daily for was not very secure as we only had to use our key card twice in 6 days to enter/exit - the gate was open both ways the rest of the time. Ate at the restaurant and waited an hour from sit down to food delivery. It was 9pm and there were very few customers so it should not have taken that long to order and get food.
