- “The villa was beautiful! We loved how the villa common areas opened to the pool and yard. The AC units in the room was a bonus. The location was perfect, the long alley way to the villa made us feel comfortable and secure, and just at the main road was everything you could want. Bars, clubs, restaurants, massage, shopping. We all felt very safe in the villa and while walking the main street. Emi is an excellent host and very easy to reach when we needed something. The unit doesn't have a washer or dryer, but she provided the service when we asked, we just left a tip for the person cleaning the clothes.”

  We had a last minute change of plans, the owner had a room available and let us check in early. Once he learned of our unexpected change in plans he gave us some great tips on alternative things to do near town and recommended restaurants and even let us borrow some pool towels when we decided to go to the local swimming hole for the afternoon! The continental breakfast was decent and there was plenty of coffee! There was also a grocery store within walking distance.

  All camping equipment included! This was a really fun way to travel--the jeep was great especially on unpaved roads. And the camping setup was easy and novel. The pick up and drop off were easy and quick, and the Zazu team was responsive throughout. Also the brochure they made of suggested camping spots was very helpful!

  We received an empty fuel canister for the gas stove, so we couldn't cook at the campground even though we had planned to. This is especially important to note when camping near Hana, since there's no restaurants open past 8pm. Zazu team was responsive and let us know that camping fuel is not included, though they leave extras when there is some. That makes sense, just would have been nice to know in advance.

  We stayed here our last night in Boston to be closer to the airport. Staff was friendly. Check in was easy. The room was spacious enough. The bathroom was huge. The view was great. Would recommend and would consider staying here again.

  I didn't like the lighting in the room. The light for the room was two small lamps on the bedside and a light around the tv, neither put off enough light to light up a dark room. I did like that the bed could be elevated, but I was not a fan of the foam mattress.

  The room was quite clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was nice.

  Although guests checking in were told there was NO smoking in the rooms and there were signs posted about no smoking in public areas the entire place smelled like marijuana/smoke. The elevator wasn't working. The drains in both the sink and the tub were very slow. Minimal amenities in the room. The walls were very thin and we heard TV's, loud talking/yelling and crying children all night long. Coupled with the smell we were concerned with our safety and left our room only to leave in the morning.

  VERY run down and not very clean (there was hair on the shower walls that didn’t belong to us and the mold around the (broken) shower door was disgusting…felt I needed to wear flip flops in the shower. Thank goodness the sheets were clean and fresh because that was the ONLY thing clean there.
