The staff at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. We did not expect a dinner the first evening we were there, but were surprised by tacos and hot dogs and didn't have to go find food on our own! Breakfast was also excellent both days. Warm eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and make your own waffles. The room was clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge and microwave. Overall, it was a great experience!

We stayed a week. The Frig access door was broken and had to be fixed. The shower handle was broken so we could not use it. Reported it and they offered to move rooms. It had already been 6 days. The handle literally fell off in my hands. No shower for a week, not so good. No monitoring of pool. We went down to the pool. 15 children in pool unsupervised. Parents outside partying and not watching the kids all under 12 years old. Hot tub taken over by 6 kids, So we couldn't even use it. So much for enjoying a nite at the pool.

The property states that it is pet friendly. Upon arrival I signed a pet agreement as per usual and the staff member reiterated that “what I was signing was agreeing to not leave my dog in the room alone whatsoever”. I said no problem but we do have a crate/kennel with us can we leave our dog in the crate in the room while we go to the Grizzly/Wolf discovery centre across the street. Staff stated no. They explained while they accept pets at the hotel they do not allow them to be unattended AT ALL. I can understand the concerns for leaving pets alone for long periods but stating you’re a pet friendly hotel and then not having any flexibility on allowing our pet to be appropriately kenneled is annoying. She then suggested we leave our dog in the car while we go to the center (it was 20 degrees Celsius that day). Luckily a winter storm rolled in the next day and it was quite cool and we were able to leave her in the car while my husband and I went into the center and checked on her periodically. Also we couldn’t go out to dinner and leave the dog so they suggested delivery or a patio that accepts dogs. Only delivery was pizza from Pete’s pizza, they told us was very good. It was not. Most mediocre and overpriced pizza and slimy wings ever. Additionally, this is the loudest hotel ever. Every person, family, loud kid could be heard through the walls. The WiFi didn’t work. Vending machine didn’t work. The included hot breakfast was pretty meh, not very appetizing.
