Got there at check in time for a parking spot. Sabal Palm Room was large, lots of windows and comfortable bed., To our surprise when we returned to the room had trash pickup, fresh towels and cleaned. Walking distance to parks, restaurants and River Street. Key Pad made it easy to go and return. Good Breakfast and Daily Variety. Free Wine both red and white.

Clean, modern, room was well thought out with good surface spaces. Beds comfortable, all very clean. Motel is right next to highway - so very convenient to get up and go. Breakfast was basic but nice - and the attendant was on top of it.

The room was very clean, loved the walk in shower. Loved the blinds for the window, instead of having curtains that always hang over the a/c or heat vent. The bed was very comfortable. A very spacious room.

As soon as we saw the door to our room (1717) we knew it wasn’t going to be what we saw online (door was dirty/rusted, if it had been a quality place to stay, the door would have been kept up. I will say the floors looked and felt clean at least, but the interior was super outdated and dingy, the walls were banged up in the living room from the Murphy bed and other furniture. The furniture was awful—cheap and so SO uncomfortable. I’ve never slept on a worse feeling bed. I know I sound like a Karen, but I’m not honestly not. I rarely ever leave a bad review, but we were beyond disappointed with this place. The bathtub definitely didn’t appear to have been cleaned well. Maybe sprayed down but definitely not scrubbed at all. And the filter to the jetted tub wasn’t properly attached, came off in my toddlers bath and a huge wad of someone else’s hair with it—disgusting. I was also suckered in by the promise of on site restaurants and cool pools. The pools were nice and there were several to choose from, but the restaurant in our tower was never operating while we were there. They did have an Ice shop on site which was nice. Honestly, if we’d been in a different room, the stay might have been fine, but we were so uncomfortable on that furniture and the overall dinginess that we left a night early. Also the door code is a ten digit code which is insane and it takes forever to get in your room/it’s hard to remember. The parking deck is not attached to the buildings at all so loading and unloading was a bit of a pain. We definitely won’t be back here.

The only thing I’ve noticed the couple times we’ve been there the toilets are low which means when you take a bath you can see all the dirt underneath the rim of the toilet. Otherwise the bathroom on the surface was clean
