Venice, Florida

I stay here every time I visit Venice. It’s the best value and all facilities are clean and up-to-date. The pool is the right temperature and there’s plenty of rafts/donuts to float around. All the rooms have a front door and a back door that leads directly to the pool. Each room has a small patio in the back by the pool. The staff is very friendly and Niks has become a good friend of mine. Definitely come here if you’re in Venice.

Room is spacious, we have a double room with double sinks and a lounge area which is really nice, also have a microwave. Clean room and comfortable bed, good location near a lot of Asian restaurants and Vietnamese grocery store.

Response to issues at the property were not acceptable - will never rent through Vacasa again.1)The hot tub was not working, but I wasn't told this until after we got there and reported it with photos-I wouldn't have rented it if I would have known it was broken. 2)There were 2 lounge deck chairs, 1 was broken, also reported with a photo. I talked with 4 reps about these issues. The response was "hot tub is broken", and 'there are 2 deck chairs". When I replied that this was NOT acceptable and the least they could do is offer me a refund - I asked for $100 out of $347. Vacasa rep replied that they would refund me the 'hot tub fee' of $35+change. Again I said this was NOT acceptable, where did they come up with that fee, and asked for a manager to contact me. No one has replied and the refund showed up on my credit card. Other issues they should know about are...3)No ventilation in the toilet area. 4)Flood lights in driveway were on all night with only skimpy drapes that let the light glare in sleeping areas.
