The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable.   Hotel is located less than 10 minutes from the Ranger III dock that goes to Isle Royale NP. There are plenty of amenities close to the hotel to prepare you for a trip to Isle Royale. There are bars and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive to downtown Hancock. They also have a sauna, hot tub, and pool to soak your bones post Isle Royale Trip!

  Hotel is a little run down, it could definitely use an update. The prices on the weekends are much higher than weekdays (expected during the busy season).

  The location was convenient which is why I selected this hotel. The room was clean and quiet. TV worked. Didn't use WiFi.

  Toilet room has five inches of space under door. If you are uncomfortable with others in the room listening or smelling while you relieve yourself - this is not the hotel for you. Shuttle service was not available at 5:00 am, so had to pay for an UBER. Room Service - One person in our party had a backache and chose to stay in while the remainder of the party left the hotel for dining. Called room service for thirty minutes - no answer. Called front desk and was told to go to the restaurant and place order - front desk could not help. Wouldn't the point of room service be ROOM SERVICE? Called Dominoes and then had to go downstairs and pick up order, staff would not deliver pizza. Front desk was less than accommodating and even during check in was less than friendly and efficient. Never felt welcome.
