Old house that was so cozy inside and tastefully decorated. The host was very attentive and gave the history of the house. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and we shared a wonderful conversation with the other renters.

Exotic birds in atrium were cool and fun. Ocean front location is great. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Elevators were scary, got stuck briefly. Were in and out of service. Indoor pool dirty. Shower had low pressure. Bathroom very outdated. On-site food was not good. Price was a bit high given the quality of the facility.

This may be a little long, but please read. I want to start off by stating I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times as it was once my Mother & I’s favorite. Back when it was called “The Inn”. This last experience was terrible and we will not be going back. We found hot pink finger nail clippings & dog hair on our balcony, we were told that we had to pay for “self parking” $20/night (did not get it upon checkout), we spotted leaks/repairs that were simply painted over on the ceiling, sandy floors (more than normal), and the shower curtain touching you nonstop in the bathroom (which is small) drove us insane. They also changed beach chairs to sitting chairs and now have smaller umbrellas with first come first serve. So if you do stay here, get up as early as possible to claim your chair/umbrella because others are! Once upon a time we loved this place. A few complaints because nowhere is perfect but the most recent experience has been enough for us to choose elsewhere next summer.

Elevator going to the 4th floor for 426. The tile was dirty and cracked elevator needs to be polished inside, sign on the elevator with duct tape. We were originally in Room 221. The lights went out. We had to be transferred to another room that took about a 1/2 an hour. No one offered a discount off the bill or anything. No one apologized for the inconvenience.
