First, I would like to thank Microsoft Windows Copilot for recommending me Willows Lodge for my private birthday celebration. The lodge is located far from noisy city. It has feature lodge architecture and beautiful gardens. A river and a few trails are nearby. It was fantastic to walk around. A doorman and a receptionist showed us warm hospitality. Each of us was offered with a glass of complimentary wine. Our room had larger space and luxury facilities, including a live fireplace, a large tub. We loved the coffee brewed by Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, We felt the large queen size beds really comfortable. A quite few pillows were nice. Overall, my wife and I had wonderful time there for my birthday celebration.

Since we were not familiar with the lodge and surrounding areas, it would be more helpful for the receptionist to mention a few interesting spots to visit in detail.

It was comfortable for the type of room. I appreciate the sink being inside the bathroom and not left out in the open of the bedroom area.

The supply scarcity was frustrating. It was explained at check-in, but not explained when reserve the room. The minimal linens., no coffee pot, no cups, no kitchen supplies are very unsatisfactory especially we’re not pre-advised of this policy.

Our key card only worked about 30% of the time. It was super frustrating trying to get into our room. They even gave us new cards multiple times and they never worked properly.

In one of our rooms, the clock was missing a clock, It is nice to have a clock when you wake up to know to roll over or get up. One of our room had an a joining room that we did not have access to. When we arrived, the door was not locked. anyone could have been in our room while we were out of the room. There was a little foot step noise coming from the floor above us.

We had such a wonderful stay! The bed was incredibly comfortable — one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a hotel. Room service was hot, fresh, and delicious, which made it so easy to relax and unwind after a long day. But the best part? This hotel is beyond dog friendly. Our pup was welcomed with open arms, and it made traveling with her such a joy. From the cozy accommodations to the thoughtful service, everything was top-notch. Highly recommend this place for both people and their four-legged friends!
