First, I need to make it clear that this was a quality in hotel until just a few months ago. So don’t wonder what’s the difference between this and the quality and. It is now owned by the Navajo nation, which is a very good thing. There’s updating to be done, but they’re working on there. Meanwhile, the rooms are nice, the bed is comfortable, there’s a workspace and chairs, and a small lobby you can kind of sit in. Free breakfast is included (buffet on Saturdays and Sundays) the restaurant is right in the hotel. At my first breakfast, I got to experience a couple of local foods that I’ve never tried before or even heard of. The location is great if you want to see window rock. You could go to Gallup, but that’s kind of a rough place these days. This is a nice calm place. There’s a supermarket nearby. There’s plenty of gas stations. And all the people who work here are good, and many of the guests are regulars. And you’ll see a diverse group of people here.

It needs some upgrades. But that will happen. It’s pretty much like a quality inn by choice hotels. Only now the profits help the Navajo nation rather than the choice corporation.

I chose this place out of my genius level discount and the location of all the restaurants in all of the stores in the area in a location nearest my family member. The front desk man in front desk girl mostly the nightman. I'm drawing a blank on his name. I think it was Chad. He was a terrific front desk man. One of the best I've ever met over the last 20 years. He made sure that my 5-year-old daughter had a cot in the room clean and ready to use. And my 16 years old son and my wife Kara and I slept comfortably in the double beds. Was very quiet at night and peaceful. The swimming pool was great and deep just a tad cold for the month of August. I highly recommend a family stay here. Also it was pleasant to meet the tradesman in the parking lot late at night to as I'm a career tradesman also. Union iron worker.

The place doesn't match up in person to the online image. It seems more charming online when in fact it's a bit rundown, next to an abandoned building and the room decor is old and dated.

How close it was to the beach and the location and all the food places nearby ! Checking in was aooo smooth I was even able to check in early which I loved!

I’d like a new towel at least every 2 days but it was fine! Since it was central ac it was super cold some days but not bad. A little run down hallways and lounge area but hey I would still book here again. When locking our door only 1 locked worked while the main one didn’t, scared me a little on that part.

The location is sketchy. The staff is unprofessional and deliberately antagonized my dogs by knocking on the door every couple of hours even though we had the do not disturb sign on. They charge tons of fees.
