I travel very often mostly for work i wish I could take Palace Inn at 290 and Jones road with me to every different city or state that I travel to that's how amazing this establishment is it's always clean peaceful and very relaxing every time I go there that's why I have made it my #1 place to stay every time I'm in the Houston/Jersey Village area if you enjoy clean rooms in a peaceful environment Palace Inn on 290 and Jones road won't disappoint you

Staff were helpful and friendly - allowed me an early check in and a slightly later check out. Room was clean and had everything you need (microwave, fridge, AC). Pool was nice. Accessible by bus and can walk to major shops and restaurants (30 mins). Perfect if you are going to Knotts Berry Farm. They allow the $100 security deposit in cash, so you don't have to wait 4 weeks to get it back into you bank. Would definitely stay again.

Name is confusing - it is now called Best Host and Uber took me to the wrong hotel....hence another trip. Not a lot of room for a suitcase (in the room I was in - I had to use the desk).

Diamond in the rough. Fantastic hotel in the hustle/ bustle of the Canyon Park area. Amenities were great, staff super helpful. Like this place a lot. Have stayed here twice and will again.

There was no breakfast, location was good as far as walking to the beach.

It wasn’t clean, the bowls were dirty, I couldn’t sleep, the mattresses were stained, the walls were dirty, I asked for extra towels and they said they couldn’t supply them. The couches were stained and I wasn’t even sure if the sheets were washed.

The entry way had a bad smell, and brown liquid running down the wall. I am a black female with natural hair. I took a nap on the sofa and woke up with blonde hair on my face. The carpet was stained in every room. The microwave was not clean. I understand that the property is old. The jets in the hot tub were minimal and not a good experience.

No coffee pods. I don’t drink tea. My friend across the hall had the same problem. The ironing board cover had more bumps on it than the items that I was ironing. Same situation across the hall. Parking is not safe for a women.
